Meet The Staff
Lisa
Lisa, married her husband, Matthew in October of 2018. They welcomed baby Benson in July of 2020 and are over the moon in love with him and being parents! They have two dogs that they enjoy spending time with. A mixed breed named Nitro and a Great Dane named Kilo.
Lisa has been a dental assistant for a total of 14 years! 10 of those years she has spent assisting Dr. C! Getting to work with kids every day is one of the favorite parts of her job. She loves hearing all of their stories and watching them grow over the years. She also loves that they care about what her 3rd favorite color is 🙂
Lisa feels the best part of her job is being a part of helping keep their little smiles healthy and continuing to teach them about ways to keep their teeth healthy and cavity free!
When Lisa’s not working she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, going to country concerts and fishing.
Robin
Robin has been in dentistry for 32 years, both in general and pediatric offices. She went back to school and became STNA certified during the covid shutdown and did home healthcare for a few years, but is now back in our office:)
Robin absolutely loves the dental field and helping making smiles bright. Her responsibilities are mainly in the front office as a receptionist and appointment coordinator, but she also helps with assisting dental procedures as needed. She definitely prefers pediatric dentistry because of the the stories kids tell and their amazing smiles. She likes to follow kids as they grow throughout their time in our office and now enjoys seeing several as new parents who bring their children to our practice!
Robin is a resident of Howland and has been married to her loving husband Perry for 32 years. Her two handsome sons, Joe and Anthony, graduated from Howland schools as well.
Robin is an animal lover and has four fur babies at home; her cat Moka and her three chihuahuas Ricco, Chica, and Paco. Her hobbies include spending time with family, traveling to Florida for sandy beach vacations and camping in Sullivan, Ohio.
Elana
Elana graduated from Lakeview High School in Cortland, Ohio. She spent her last two years of high school at the Trumbull Career and Technical Center where she got her certification to be a Dental Assistant. During her last year of schooling, she started working in General Dentistry where she remained for a year. Now, she is glad she found her new home in Pediatric Dentistry!
Elana’s favorite thing about working with kids is the amazing smile bringing conversations that kids share. Their care free spirits always seem to light up the room!
Elana currently resides in Fowler, Ohio with her amazing family. She loves to spend time with her dog, Brutus Maximus, and loves to go on walks and trips to the Dog Park. Elana also loves to travel with her friends and go on adventures. Trying new things has always been her passion!
When Elana is not at work, she is most likely sitting by her piano! She also works at her church as the Campus Worship Leader. Her favorite part about leading worship is being able to use her talent to help others in many ways.
Suzi
Suzi’s dental journey began over 30 years ago, and she has been part of Dr. Commarato’s pediatric dental team for over 29 years as a dental assistant! She feels proud to work with a team that helps brighten so many smiles, as we serve together to make sure each child and their family have a great visit! She is happy to fill in for vacations and in needed to keep the schedule running smoothly! Suzi loves helping people, especially children; teaching them about dental hygiene and watching them grow through the years and learn the importance of dental health! Suzi is inspired by working with kids and feels she learns something from them each day…teaching her always to be a kid at heart! She strives daily to help kids feel comfortable and to laugh with them, sharing the belief “you can have fun at the dentist!!!”
Suzi enjoys the great outdoors, sunshine, summer and beach vacations! Mostly she is blessed sharing time with her family and friends at home and at church, and growing through life with her husband, Joe! Together they love and spoil their fur-baby, Miley, who is always ready for a fun adventure. They love going for walks together daily with Miley as the leader of their pack:)
Laura
Laura is bringing new energy to our team. She has been a dental assistant since 2014. Laura became a dental assistant so she could help people feel great about their smiles, just like her dentist did for her 🙂 Her favorite part about working with kids is seeing their face light up with a smile when they talk about their favorite things to do, or sharing about their family and animals!! She currently subs on Wednesdays as needed.
She likes being able to show kids proper brushing and flossing so they can feel confident in doing so themselves as they learn how important it is caring for their smiles is to their health.
Laura also enjoys sharing stories about her 4 1/2 year old daughter, Scarlett, their Boxer dog, Topanga, and an all-white, odd-eyed cat, Deja (aka Meow Meow). On her days off, she enjoys going on nature walks, swimming, riding bike and eating ice cream with her husband Bryce and their daughter, Scarlett.
Ally
Alexandrea graduated from Mathews Local Schools in Vienna, Ohio and Trumbull Career and Technical Center as a Dental Assistant in 2021. She began her career in the field of general dentistry before graduating high school. Alexandrea has worked in 3 different dental specialties consisting of General Dentistry, Endodontics and Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. She recently accepted a position with our practice and adds her 4th specialty in Pediatrics, and knew immediately this was where she wanted to remain throughout her career.
Alexandrea grew up in the small town of Vienna Ohio where she now resides with her significant other (Chad). She has the most amazing mother whom raised her into the strong, kind, loving and independent woman that she is today. She is also a twin, her twin sisters name is Hannah. She has a brother (DJ) and another sister (Danette) who are also twins, born on the same exact day but 10 years (earlier), as well as two older sisters (Kayla) and (Temperance). She is an auntie to 4 nephews and 4 nieces. Her Grandmother (Billie) who also had a huge impact on who she is today and is one of her biggest supporters. Finally, her grandfather (Ralph) is one of her favorite people in the world and also with her grandma is a huge supporter of her. Her significant others family is just as loving and supportive as her own and she couldn’t be more grateful for them! She loves spending time outdoors, swimming, kayaking, paddle boarding, going to the gym, hanging out with her childhood best friend (Brittney), and playing volleyball. She has played volleyball and club volleyball in the fall and winters for over 7 years and loves going back to help her former coach. Some of her other favorite hobbies are riding ATV / UTV’s, cooking, going to the drive in, trying new restaurants and traveling. She and her significant other (Chad) enjoy spending time together going riding, having dinner dates, and going to the county fairs. She also enjoys spending time with her family and going on vacation to visit her uncle who lives on the east coast in North Carolina.
Rachel
Rachel has been a dental assistant for 7 years, and 3 years ago took on learning the responsibilities of the front office as a receptionist and appointment coordinator. She absolutely loves the dental field and helping to make smiles brighter and healthier one day at a time! She has scaled back to spend time with her two daughters and is currently subbing as needed.
When Rachel is away from the office she spends her time with her husband, Matt, and their daughters, Kensley, who is 3 years old and full of smiles, and sweet baby Vivien!! They have 2 dogs, a German Shepard, Duke, and a boxer mix, Dozer, both rescues! They love being outdoors whether it’s camping, four wheeling, snowboarding or spending time with their family and friends!
