Scheduling
Office Hours
We try to see all of our patients on an appointment basis and will reserve a scheduled appointment exclusively for your child. We make every effort to schedule your child’s appointment so you will not be kept waiting. We realize your time is important, too! The office attempts to schedule appointments at your convenience and when time is available. Preschool children should be seen in the morning because they are fresher and we can work more slowly with them for their comfort. School children with a lot of dental treatment needing to be done should be seen in the morning for the same reason. Dental appointments are an excused absence. Missing school can be kept to a minimum when regular dental care is continued.
Since appointed times are reserved exclusively for each patient we ask that you please notify our office 24 hours in advance if you are unable to keep your appointment. Another patient, who needs our care, could be scheduled if we have sufficient time to notify them. We do reserve the right to charge for our time or not schedule any more appointments for your family if you have missed or canceled appointments.
Arriving late for an appointment may require rescheduling so as not to keep other patients waiting. We appreciate a call if you are going to be late.
Please note we do see dental emergencies for patients of record. Dr. Commarato tries her best to stay on schedule to minimize your waiting. Emergency cases do arise and can cause delays. We appreciate your understanding and patience. Please accept our sincere apologies if this should lead to a delay in your child’s appointment. If your child has an accident please call our office as soon as possible in order to have your child seen. If your child is in pain or has an emergency situation, every attempt will be made to see them that day.
